Grand Theft Auto Online — Rockstar's ongoing ever expanding multiplayer system, introduced with Grand Theft Auto V. Not affiliated with Rockstar Games or TakeTwo.
Even though it's a little tricky, it works based on these rules:
Bicycles you steal off the street are not insured, unlike those bought from the website. That means once those are destroyed, they are gone for good.
If you drive a newly stolen vehicle (not just bike) into one of your garages, it will be converted to a personal vehicle. If there is no space for it in that garage, you will be asked if you want to remove an existing vehicle that is parked there. That one will be gone for good.
So HOW TO remove bicycles from your garage:
Find a place where bikes spawns. Examples are (mostly around noon): At the side of Route 68 in Harmony, along the trail that cuts under Baytree Canyon Road in Great Chaparral, at the bike rental shop in Vespucci Beach, on the trail starting Southwest of the Vinewood Bowl, around the half-pipe in Mirror Park, .
(Optional) Trade in one of your garages, from which you want to remove bicycles, for a garage near one of those locations. This is just to save time.
Steal bikes and fill up a garage until all the bikes you want removed are replaced with stolen bikes.
Destroy those bikes.
Remember that you can request a purchased bicycle from any location by first destroying it, while also having any other insured vehicle or aircraft (not a bicycle) destroyed. That way can call Mors Mutual to replace your bicycle and afterward you can use the "request vehicle" function to have it brought to you anywhere on the map.
You can make personal vehicles switch places in garages if you drive one into a different but full garage, including bicycles. This is contrary to driving a freshly stolen vehicle into a full garage; see above.
Accepting Lester's heist invite will teleport your personal vehicle with you, including bicycles.
